Before we jump to the list of tongue twisters, let’s take a quick look at the two cardinal rules for saying them.

Two rules to speak tongue twisters 两条绕口令训练原则:

  • 1. 加快速度Say them fast. The faster, the better. If you say slowly, you can say the most difficult tongue twister in the world without fumbling. Right?
  • 2. 如果很短,那就连说几遍,最好三遍。如果长,一遍即可。If the tongue twister is short – a short sentence comprising of few words – repeat it at least thrice in quick succession. (Most in the list below would fall into the category of short tongue twisters.) If they’re long, say them once.
