如何地道的表达某事即将发生呢？

让我们来看看：

比较口语化的场合下，我们可以使用 Around the corner

around the corner, 有两个意思，它的第一个意思，是表示距离上的近，可以直接翻译为“在前面不远的拐角处”或者“拐个弯就到了”，如：the restaurant is around the corner.

第二个意思，是时间上的近，就是表示”即将发生”

The ecnomic recovery is around the corner. 经济复苏即将开始。

如 The summer vacation is just around the corner.

另外比较常用的表达还有 At hand, forthcoming, close at hand, imminent

The examination is close at hand!考试即将开始!

We are preparing for the forthcoming competation.我们在为即将到来的竞赛做着准备。

The dark clouds suggest an impending storm.乌云预示着即将到来的暴风雨

They are not aware of the imminent danger. 他们并未意识到即将来到的危险。
